Plans
The NAW Health Insurance Program includes group medical, dental, life/AD&D and tax–advantaged
solutions. These exclusive plans combine flexibility, security and savings.
Medical Plans
- PPO Plans – Member companies can choose from numerous plan designs — including
traditional and high-deductible plans with varying deductible and coinsurance levels.
The PPO plans offer a wide network of physicians, specialists and hospitals. Employees have the freedom
to choose any doctor or hospital they prefer, but receive greater benefits and lower out-of-pocket costs
when they visit an in–network provider.
Additionally, if a member company has at least 200 employees electing medical coverage, there are
opportunities to further customize the plan with alternate funding arrangements and plan designs.

Ancillary Plans
- Dental – Choose from three different dental plans, covering both basic and major dental services,
while allowing employees to visit the dentist of their choice.
- Life/AD&D – Provide financial protection and security to employees and their families with
group term life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. This coverage complements group
medical plans and allows employers to offer a comprehensive benefit package to attract and retain employees.
Tax-Advantaged Plans
Member companies can choose from a wide range of consumer-driven, account-based programs to fit their unique needs
and budgets.
- Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) – Allow employees to manage, control and pay for qualified healthcare
expenses with tax-free dollars.
- Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) – Allow employers to define and control how their benefit
plans are funded.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) – Allow employees to plan ahead and set aside tax-free dollars
for non-reimbursed healthcare expenses.
- Transit Reimbursement Accounts (TRAs) – Allow employees to pay tax-free for transportation and
parking expenses for the purpose of commuting to and from work.
- COBRA Administration – A complex administrative function that ensures member companies remain in
federal compliance.
