Individual Medicare and Ancillary Sales Consultant (Newly created position)
The Medicare & Individual Health Consultant position is responsible for working directly with brokers and facilitating Medicare and Individual sales. Additionally, the Medicare & Individual Health Consultant is responsible for helping consumers as needed, recommending Medicare and Individual plans that meet their needs. This individual will be required to utilize their product and sales knowledge and provide advice, recommendations, and assistance to each client.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years Individual Health Insurance or Medicare sales experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Illinois Insurance Producer’s License.
- Must be able to meet insurance carriers’ requirements to be appointed to sell their products (this includes an acceptable credit rating and a clear criminal background check)
- Annual Medicare certification for all carriers represented by Flex will be required.
