The plan documents that are issued by insurance companies and other benefits providers are typically standardized and don\u2019t include all of the customized, employer-specific language that the ERISA law requires.<\/p>\n<p>To make things easier, Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex) can prepare a written plan document with all of the required disclosures that \u201cwraps around\u201d all ERISA health and welfare benefits that an employer offers.<br \/>\nThe Wrap Document can provide all of the required language for many different types of plans, such as:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Health Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Dental Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Disability Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Vision Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Life Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)<\/li>\n<li>Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs)<\/li>\n<li>Accident-Only Plans<\/li>\n<li>Long-Term Care<\/li>\n<li>Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment (AD&amp;D)<\/li>\n<li>Prescription Drug Plans<\/li>\n<li>Retiree Medical Plans<\/li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), if counseling is provided<\/li>\n<p>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Government and church plans are exempt from ERISA, but all other employers who offer health and welfare benefits are required to have a plan document in place that meets the disclosure requirements included in the ERISA law.
