Flex Releases FSA, HSA, HRA Report, Identifies ACA Impacts for Employers

Report on consumer-driven accounts provides trends and predictions with the Cadillac Tax looming and private exchanges surging

ROSEMONT, Ill. (June 29, 2015) – Today, Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex), a leading benefits administrator publicly released its first FSA, HSA & HRA Report: Trends & Predictions. The report, which was based on a nationwide survey on these Consumer-Driven Accounts, reveals employers’ current usage and future impacts as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) continues to be implemented and market conditions change.

The Flex report provides trends data that is specific to employer size to help benefits decision-makers, among other business and insurance professionals, understand the effects of the ACA on their own employee benefit offerings. Key findings from the Flex survey of more than 500 employer respondents indicate:
